Demo of an unreleased track from an unfinished album that would have been called INTROSPECTIVES.

Vocals were self-recorded in as few takes as possible with only very light editing and leveling.

I would say I have the clearest of minds
But sometimes it clouds itself
And throws caution where I need none.
Sometimes it eats away at the things
I am most proud of
And makes them feel like a war I must fight
To keep them and feel them
While also telling myself it's just so fucking useless.

Or even worse, worthless.
Like I'm just so fucking worthless.
But I'll tell you what
It's worth it.

Nothing is worse than when your mind
Tries to tear itself apart
And then takes aim right at your fucking heart.

And they always told us
It's something you outgrow.
Try not to think about it.
Stop being so dramatic.
But I'll tell you right now,
It's ok to live with this.
You're not the only one
And you don't need a way out.
Just hold on to the things
That on the other side of this anxiety
Will always stand by your side
As their own separate piece of a whole.

There will always be those things
Worth grasping with all of your strength.
On the other side of a clouded mind.

I swear to you
These feelings
Will not fucking last.
